My son is very happy with the cooling of this device. We had replaced an older model that the temperature button broke on and this one is a better design. Looking forward to trying the heating feature as the months get colder in New England

We had three older Frigidaire portable AC units that lasted us a long time before they all went out around the same time. Unfortunately, they were out of warranty, and I couldn™™t find anyone to service them. I tried switching to three Black + Decker portable AC units, but each one had issues and had to be returned. That experience pushed me back to Frigidaire™"and I™™m glad it did.We™™re very happy with our new unit. It cools the rooms quickly and has handled the recent heat waves extremely well. The unit is powerful, quiet, and overall performs far better than the alternatives we tried.That said, there are a couple of features I wish Frigidaire would add:Auto Temperature Control ™ The unit offers cool, dry, fan, and heat modes, but there™™s no auto mode to maintain a set temperature. For example, if I set it at 72°, I™™d expect it to switch between heating, cooling, or just running the fan as needed. Instead, I have to manually toggle between settings, which isn™™t practical™"especially overnight. Our older Frigidaire units had this feature, so I don™™t understand why it™™s missing here.Beep Control ™ Every adjustment on the unit triggers loud beeps, even when made through the mobile app. This is disruptive, especially at night when I don™™t want to wake the kids. A simple ™sound off™ option in the app would solve this.The mobile app itself is a nice addition, but I™™ve noticed that tasks I™™ve created don™™t actually run, which makes that feature feel incomplete.Overall, this is a great product with excellent cooling power, quiet operation, and reliability we trust. With a few small improvements, it could be perfect. I™™d still recommend Frigidaire portable AC units to anyone shopping around.

We needed a backup heat and AC unit for our loft, Which constantly is the exact opposite of the rest of the house Because of the high ceilings. This unit has worked perfectly! Kept the room very cold and with the minimal heat Kept it warm when needed. Would love to have another one for the other side of the loft. Makes very little noise and puts out a lot of cold.We ducted it to the outside through HVAC flex Duct and drained it to the sofit and it all works really good. We are very happy with this unit and would definitely buy again. We highly recommend this.

Best portable AC I™™ve had. Gets colder quicker and actually cuts off at my specified temperature and starts back when needed! My bedrooms in my rehabbed old attic spaces has been the perfect temperature without any ups and downs in temperature. Also this one was much easier to connect to WiFi!!! It was effortless!

We got this Frigidaire portable unit for our warehouse. It worked great until it became very warm outside. It worked great until then. It's not the A/C's fault. There is very little insulation. We are planning to buy another unit. The temperatures are near 100. I took the unit home. It works great. It just wasn't mighty enough for our shop. It cools down a room quickly. You can operate it from an app. I like the fact that it's on rollers. It is a great A/c unit. I will purchase another one. If you are looking for a great A/C unit that is portable, this is the one for you.

I have a very large studio apartment (975 sq ft) and even though the ASHRAE says it™™ll cover up to 700 sq ft and the DOE up to 450 sq ft, it™™s been doing a great job keeping my space cool in the hot and humid Midwest. I use a tower fan near it to help disperse the cool air.

I don't like to write reviews after using something for a week, but am willing to give first impressions. The install can be tricky if your window is non-standard (mine is an RV with curved edges so it was very fiddly and required much custom cutting). I was hoping this unit would be quieter than the built in A/C, and it is, but not by much. The cooling is fairly effective for a long narrow space but I do have to move it around to make the cooling more evenly distributed. I realize these are not designed for RV's, but it may be worth doing this review if others in my situation are thinking of trying one of these. I got this because it also does heat and I'm hoping it will provide enough heat in the fall to avoid my using the very noisy furnace or very high electric charges for a space heater. In general, I like it, but it is quite noisy in a small space and must be pointed directly at any space more than a couple of feet from the unit. I might still go to a mini-split ducted system but will use this for a longer time before deciding on that.

This portable air conditioner has been a lifesaver in the summer heat of Georgia. We keep it in our bedroom and the sound of the motor is so quiet it™™s barely noticeable. We love that it also acts as an air purifier or basic fan. In the winter we will get to test out the heat function. We love the remote control and the wheels that make it easy to move around as needed. Would definitely recommend.

The water reservoir indicator doesn't alert me when is full, also the timer in the app, doesn't work. Besides that the unit works good, I don't know how the heater works, I will see in winter.

I live on the 3rd floor of a condo in Georgia and without an attic fan, summers are brutal. I don™™t like to spend a fortune keeping my A/C so low and I don™™t have ceiling fans so I™™m not always comfortable at home. This portable fan cools nearly every room ofMyCondo and is so quiet. I can have normal volume conversations and watch tv without having to yell over the hum. I also love being able to set a schedule on the app and control it remotely to save energy. We set this up in just a few minutes. The instructions are straightforward. The app was easy to navigate and follow. It connected to WiFi without a hassle. The unit itself it pretty heavy (over 50#) but has wheels so it can be moved around with ease. The design is sleek and quite compact to fit and maneuver. We are having 80 plus degree weather and it is keep up just fine. It has a very neutral design and the control panel is flat.

This unit is the best portable ac unit I've ever owned. The installation and set up was extremely easy. The unit came with all components needed to run the exhaust hose out the window. The unit heats and cools extremely well, the fan is very powerful and pushes it across our whole room. The ability to have it on wifi and control the temperature from my phone is extremely convenient. The unit is quiter than most I have owned, which is great when running at night. The wheels make it extremely easy to move around, which helps tremendously as the unit is somewhat heavy.

We live in a two-story condo where our bedroom is on the second floor and it gets very, very hot during the day and night .We had an older ac unit for our bedroom but it was very loud and would wake us up clunking when turning off and on. When setting this new AC up, we were very shocked at how quiet it was. It was a fairly easy set up the only feature that we seem to have trouble with is connecting it to our Alexa device for some reason when setting up the skill in Alexa app we are not able to detect the device even when the Wi-Fi set up shows it was successful. A little bit annoying since we have many devices in our home that can be controlled all from Alexa. I installed the Frigidaire app and I am able to control the unit from that as a workaround. All in all very impressed with the quality and it keeps us feeling cold all night!

My bedroom is in the finished attic of my house. I think when they put the drywall up, they never insulated, because it gets extremely hot in the spring, summer, and fall. Even with central air, I need something powerful to supplement the AC or the room will be unbearable. This is where my Frigidaire portable comes in. I've had a portable unit from a big brand before, and the Frigidaire blows it out of the water by every metric. First, it is very quiet for a portable. One thing you need to understand when buying a portable is that the compressor is in the room with you, instead of hanging outside like a window unit. This usually means the noise can drown out the audio on your TV. This is not the case with the Frigidaire. It's at least as quiet as any high-end window unit I've had before. Another awesome feature is the smart control. I can turn it on and off with Alexa, or I can use the app when I'm getting ready to leave work, and it will have the room cooled by the time I get home. The most important characteristic is the cooling ability. The Frigidaire really shines here. Not only does it get cold, but it blows hard and throws cold air across my entire space. If you are contemplating getting a Frigidaire portable AC for your space, I highly recommend it.

I am very happy with my Frigidaire. It blows very cold air. I haven't tried the heat yet but I'm sure it'll work great. I bought it for my shop with a few fans it keeps it comfortable. I will be purchasing another one. The installation was very easy. I had it setup in a few minutes. I love that it's Wi-Fi. I can control it with a app. When I put it in the office, I have to turn it down because it gets too cold. I think with one more for the shop, it will be the same way. I definitely will buy another. I would recommend this A/C for anyone looking. It cools great for an area of 450 square feet.

Really pleased with this one! At first I wasn™™t so sure what portable meant in a unit like this but I was really pleasantly surprised on the ease of use. Set up was 5 minutes. Blows extremely cold and heat was really hot.With a baby it™™s nice to have something quiet and this didn™™t disappoint either. When running it sounds like a gentle sound machine. 6 stars if I could. Okay I finally got the unit completely installed. There is some bad but mostly good. My Frigidaire 14,000 BTU portable air conditioner/heater with wi-fi is pretty impressive. This unit should be a major help during the hot summer months coming very soon, and we™™ll get to test out its heating later this year. It's pretty easy to install and use, and the Wi-Fi connectivity is a big plus that allows device control without even being near the unit. I can control the temperature and fan settings from anywhere in my home using the app, which is so convenient.The cooling power is impressive, and the unit is surprisingly quiet and efficient. As it was just recently installed, the effect on my energy bill is not yet known.What could really make this air conditioner top notch is the smart features. I can schedule temperature changes, receive alerts, and even control it with voice commands using my smart speaker. It's amazing to come home to a cool and comfortable space on a hot day. Unfortunately, the reason I gave the unit 4out of 5 stars, is that the scheduling feature is not currently working. Hopefully that will be rectified in the near future.Overall, I'm satisfied with my Frigidaire air conditioner. It's a great investment for anyone looking for a reliable and feature-packed cooling solution. And once the minor software issue is fixed, this unit will be deserving of five stars. I recommend this product and will give a high recommendation if it has very little impact on my energy bill.
