I do like this unit it's small it works no issues as of 3 months the only complaint is I can't control it through app like my other unit so I can turn on while I'm on the way home or anywhere not at home

It actually got too cold one night which never happened with a previous unit (different brand). Our old unit also did not tell us that we needed to drain the unit, this is a good safety feature.

Had to turn our family room into a recovery room for my complete knee replacement recovery area. Set room up with everything I needed including pt work area. Worked great was able to keep the room at a pleasant temp. Fan not too noisy, set instructions leave much to be desired, you tube video was helpful however set viewing seemed to in reverse to actual finished product!

The AC unit did not cool as expected. When I purchased the units they were advertised on the box as cooling a 350 sq ft room. I used them in 25 sq ft rooms and they only cooled the rooms from 92 degrees down to 90. I had lots of customer complaints from this.

Do not buy this model or any other portable air conditioner that Frigidaire makes. This one is the 2nd one I've owned in 2 years. Both failed after only 1 summer of use. The compressor does not turn on and blow air does not come out even after running the AC at 60 degrees for 30 mins. Sad thing is that warranty is only good for 1 year and if you're lucky it'll fail before 1 year is up and you can then get a free replacement. However, you cannot get a free replacement for the 2nd one that fails. Avoid buying this at all costs.

I installed one of these in a 25 sqft room. Yes, 5x5. And it couldn't keep up with 90 degree plus weather. Best I could achieve is to get the tiny room down to 80 degrees F. Performed all the troubleshooting steps for the case where room was still too warm. Beware before you buy.

This unit worked ok for the first year, but then things started to go downhill. It would randomly shut off and restart™"even after I triple-checked the settings and confirmed there was no timer enabled. Because of that, I couldn™™t use it reliably overnight unless I set it to the lowest temperature, which seemed to keep it running.Trying to use it again in the second year I consistently got a ™P1" error and the tank would fill up. I tried many troubleshooting steps and connected a hose to the extra drainage port, but nothing resolved the issue. These problems began just after the one-year warranty expired, rendering the unit unusable.I™™m very disappointed. While it did cool my small room quite effectively when it worked, the unreliability and lack of support make this a product I wouldn™™t purchase again.

I bought this because my room always gets very hot during the day, and by evening it is so hot I was having trouble sleeping. This AC has made it much more pleasant to sleep. The air it puts out is very cold. It is slightly noisy, but I don't find that it disturbs my rest. If you have the money or a bigger room, I would go for a more expensive model, but otherwise this is a good unit and I trust it to last a long time.

After my AC went out on me I immediately purchased this item after reading the awesome reviews. And all the five star reviews were right! This product cools down not just a small room, but even a larger room. I have no complaints and I have been basking in the nice cool air ever since I got it. It™™s easy to hook up, easy to learn how to use. Simple and fast and works great! Would recommend to everyone!

I'm very happy with this purchase. I haven't used any other modes but "Cool" yet, and I love the temp control feature. It's quiet enough and I actually don't mind the white noise effect it has while sleeping.

I have started having problem with the unit within a year after purchasing that. I asked for a replacement on June 10th 25 and issued a ticket. I sent the documents, but the customer service repeatedly told me to send the documents (when I chat) which I already sent 3 times and after that they lied that it is approved and wait for 10 business days. I waited and called them for a follow up, they said we have not received the documents yet. I have the screenshots of the representatives saying "your replacement is approved" again I sent the documents fourth times and let's see what will happen next? It has been more than a month they are fooling us. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

My window is 29" wide, thus met the specification of at least 26.6". I slid the extension piece to the left to fit. To my dismay, the vent opening was blocked by about 7" of the right end of the extension piece. I called your Customer Service, but they said they could not help with installation and to call who I bought it from. The Home Depot man agreed with me that I had to saw off at least 7" of the extension piece. This is a serious omission from you Installation Guide. The Guide does say that you can make the Window Kit work in a window less than 26.6" by sawing off some of the piece containing the vent hole.

Seriously disappointed. Died after one season in a region where it is used less than 2 months out of the year due to a common flaw with this device, P1 error code. Worst Frigidaire would not honor my warranty. It died within the first year and I registered the device when I received and installed the device. Stay away from the Model FHPC082AC1 8000 btu unit.

Easy to assemble. Does a wonderful job cooling the bedroom and is pretty quiet! My only issue was with the power cord placement. It's on the right side of the unit and barely reaches my outlet which is to the left of my window. I wish the cord was on the center back of the unit.

Let me be clear. I am a big fan of Frigidaire products. I own a Frigidaire refrigerator, mini fridge, chest freezer, water dispenser, microwave and toaster. I wanted to give this product a 5 star rating, but couldn't because of the install process. I had a difficult time properly attaching the vent hose to the plastic pieces that clip onto the unit and the window piece. It could have been user error, although I've had much better luck installing other AC units. Other than that, the AC unit does a wonderful job cooling off the room. I still recommend this brand and this product.

I purchased this unit at PC Richards. The salesman told me this unit will only cool down a small room. To my surprise, this unit cooled down a room double it's size. I highly recommend purchasing this unit. I actually had to lower the setting because it was to cold lol!!!

works okay, it says perfect for a small bedroom at 150 sq feet which is my bedroom yet at night time it short cycles. i rarely use ac at night but when i have to its constantly flipping on and off all night and sometimes i think it gets tired because it shuts off altogether. works great during the day though.

This unit worked great and cooled well. However we wanted to use it in our bedroom overnight, and it kept shutting off periodically and waking us up. When I went to return it (within our return window), the return experience was terrible. The service rep was helpful and did all she could, but they're lacking policy that provides a fair customer experience. I was not told that UPS would need to pick up the unit from my house, and they came during working hours when we are not at home. Poor communication from both Frigidaire and UPS made it so that by the time we had the unit packed up and ready for pickup, it was too late. Frigidaire said they would not provide another return label and that returning the unit was on my dime, which would have been over $140. Please do better to help your customers!

I wish it had a lower fan speed, even the low setting is still fairly loud. I also wish Frigidaire made an even smaller unit. Don™™t need one as big as 8k btu. Otherwise it gets the job done.

I wake up sweating because this product shuts itself off on its own when though it has manual fan speeds. If I set it to high I expect the fan to run high all night not just shut off when it wants. That is the main reason I purchased this unit. If I am don™™t anything wrong please let me know. I have read that the manual and cannot find what I am doing wrong. It only earned the second star because it cools down nicely when it doesn™™t turn off on its own. I have only had this unit for a month™¦ disappointment customer.

Our new place doesn™™t fit our 12 year old window ac, so we had to upgrade to this Frigidaire. We are LOVING it. I messed up a bit and didn™™t measure the window properly and the slats are too long (my fault) so we™™re taped with cardboard until we get the slat situation sorted. But even with only CARDBOARD it™™s cooling the room down SO MUCH! Couldn™™t recommend enough.
