It runs a lot, but seems to be doing its job properly now. I was surprised that I had to install the wheels and that I didn't discover the specific instructions until after I had done so. The print in the instruction sheet was a might too small for my aging eyes and I needed a magnifier in addition to my regular glasses. There was a puddle under it initially, but that is gone now. The app shows a dirty filter, but the machine itself does not indicate that - a bit confusing. The app is a handy reference tool though.

Great dehumidifier with a pump and WiFi! This works amazing. Only issue I have is with the app as the ™€œtasks™€ you can program don™€™t seem to do anything. Hopefully a software update will fix this issue.

Very effective, but VERY LOUD!

I'm not sure how the stated noise levels of this unit were measured. With the fan on low, I'm measuring over 71-74dBA at about 10 feet away. This thing seems about as loud as my vacuum cleaner. It's very effective at drying out the air in a very humid large bedroom, but I'm continuing my search for a quieter unit as I simply can't live with this level of noise.

I™€™m amazed at how well this unit pulls out moisture. The noise level is great and not distracting if doing activities in the basement. The best part is how little heat it generates. My basement was way too hot in the past with our previous unit. This dehumidifier keeps it at a comfortable mid to low 70s.

LArge basement in an area that has had frequent heavy rains. The unit keeps the area bone dry. It drains into a utility sink and runs on a preset humidity level. Set it up once and let it go. Filter cleaning is very easy.

Bought this to replace old Frigidaire that stopped working and would freeze over with ice. Got several years out of it. This new model works great. Just wish it had a bigger bucket so it didn™€™t fill up and need to be emptied so often. Noise level is ok, but not quiet.

Third Frigidaire Dehumidifier

This is my 3rd Frigidaire for the crawl space. The last one froze so I will be monitoring this one more closely. I set it on "dry" for the first week to bring the humidity down, then set it on "Auto" which seems to be doing well. Humidity was at 59% this morning when I checked it. The water goes into a Lil Giant pump, then outside via a tube. This time I took out the 2 year Protection Plan through Home Depot.

When I realized that the Frigidaire dehumidifier I was replacing had lasted eight years, and found this newest Frigidaire model, the deal was done. Two months in, everything seems fine. I've only had this unit for a few weeks, so obviously can't comment on durability. But I'm very pleased so far. It's made a definite difference in my downstairs, where our hot and humid summers often lead to that musty smell. And its 4500 sq ft rating (coupled with the AC) seems to ensure the dehumidified air circulates throughout the house. I ops checked it first using the bucket and manually emptying the water. The full bucket is somewhat heavy, and it fills to the top before shutting off so you have to be careful pulling it out and lifting it to keep from sloshing water around. But this is manageable. Then I the pump drain option, which is the feature I wanted most, and have been using that ever since. The pump is low pressure and so quiet you don't hear it running, but is definitely effective at emptying the bucket. And it operates effectively at the full 16-foot length of the drain line. I haven't tried the larger gravity drain line option and don't intend to. The fan runs smoothly, but is a bit noisy (I use the low setting) - similar to box fan on the high setting. I don't think you could make this kind of unit without a fairly powerful fan, and it's not as noisy as my AC/furnace fan, so I've easily become accustomed to it. On the good side, there are no annoying mechanical vibrations, just the fan noise. Finally, the size of the unit makes it easy to tuck against a wall or in a corner without taking a bunch of space or sticking out awkwardly.

nice unit, very fancy with water tray. looks well made. we need to adjust the humidity down to reduce mold, and only option on the dry setting. but the unit often blows hot air which is very uncomfortable.

It™€™s crazy how much moisture this machine removes from the air. I have to empty the bucket about every 12 hours. I™€™m going to try the pump feature so that I don™€™t have to keep emptying the bucket. So far it is working flawlessly. The exhaust air isn™€™t too warm where it warms up my house. The fan noise is a little loud for my taste, but I™€™m willing to live with it.
