Upon buying my first home, I knew I wanted Frigidare in my kitchen: they do one thing and one thing only with a reputation of consistent excellence: make appliances and only appliances. I had not yet experienced the world of induction cooking, and I can say that I am completely sold. This range responds to input instantly and accurately on the cooktop and in the oven. Food is neither over- nor undercooked and results have been consistent. For an incredible piece of equipment that happens to not only perform well but also comes without an exorbitant price tag, this range cannot be beat!

My first induction stove

I'm a convert to induction! I love this induction stove and convection oven so much! My last stove was electric, it took 6 minutes to boil 2 cups of water. Now... just over 1 minute (and I'm at a high altitude)! I'm shocked. I know that is more induction tech than the actual stove top but still. The unit itself is great. My one and only complaint it that sometimes when you brush or lean up against the controls, it senses it and I end up accidently pressing buttons. One thing that takes some getting used to is that after a few seconds of the pan being off the top, it will turn the burner off so if you need to saute or dump something out you may have to turn the burner back on. I don't think it's a big deal just something to get used to.

Used it a bit in the first week or two I™€™ve had it - it™€™s been weird not to have to cook in a hot kitchen now that radiant heat isn™€™t blasting me from the stove top. I do wish the largest burner was 12™€ instead of 10™€, but otherwise I™€™ve been just trying to find pans I like that work on an induction range. The speed of boiling water is insane too. Haven™€™t used the oven yet so no comment there, I did run it when I first got the oven as instructed and it preheated to 325 in a little over 10 minutes which is 10 minutes faster than my old gas range so that seems like it will be a huge improvement.

I bought this stove to replace an old downdraft cooktop and a small, 24 inch oven. I was afraid I'd have to stay with the downdraft. Doing my research, there are only 2 downdraft electric ovens available, and both of them have sub- par ratings. I ordered one anyway, but the store couldn't tell me when it could be even available! As my kitchen remodel date quickly approached, I was panicking. Happily, my contractor said he'd be able to install a vent hood and I could find a replacement stove. More research, and I came upon this wonderful stove that was in stock. Now that I've used it, I am thrilled! First, it looks great, very nice and best of all, no knobs to collect dirt! I love how responsive it is, and how cool everything stays. I did have to replace my favorite skillet and 2 quart pot, but that's an okay trade off for a great stove. It boils water, and everything else, very quickly. Having such a large (actually fairly standard) oven now, is marvelous! I can finally use my turkey roaster at Thanksgiving! No regrets, so far so good!

Induction works. The front mounted buttons are quite touchy though- it's easy to inadvertently change a stove setting by brushing against a button. A nice to have would be a longer wait time option for delay start bake (current unit only allows for an hour delay).

After years of cooking with gas I recently made the move to this Frigidaire Induction Range with Convection Oven and couldn't be happier. Installation and operation are a breeze and both the range and oven heat up super quickly and retain a consistent temperature. We've been cooking and baking up a storm since. Great looking product also and the glass cooktop is very easy to clean. P.S. Also bought a Frigidaire small French door refrigerator and equally impressed with it.

I switched from gas to induction and am very pleased with my purchase. The stove cooks fast and evenly, and is very easy to clean. Haven't done much baking yet, but it seems to heat very evenly. Control buttons took a little getting used to, but overall this seems to be a well made unit at a very reasonable price.

I ordered this product and received it in April. I am now surprised by all the good reviews I read about it before I purchased it. I really wanted a good product that work well and would last and wasn't concerned about the bells and whistles on the more expensive models ! It's my first induction range ( not my first time using one) and after having it for about 3 days I used the cooktop to make pasta. I used my pasta pot on the large burner and the normal amount of water needed for the pasta ... and it took 30 minutes on the P (Power boil ) setting to come to a boil, a low rolling boil and it never boiled any faster. The pasta that should have been finished in 11 minutes took 20 minutes. I also had the same issue making stir fry shortly after that. The burner never got really hot in the way that it should to cook in a wok ( flat bottom induction). And it took forever to cook the veggies ! I immediately called Frigidaire , who made an appt. with a local repair company to look at the stove, but they never showed up on the scheduled day and after I called them they said they don't work with warranty Frigidaire items. Then they made me an appt. with another local company who also never showed up and told me that's not how it works... After finally getting a repair guy out to look at it, he ( without testing it ) decided he knew the issue , but clearly didn't listen to me and ordered one part for one side of the stovetop and he just came back today to install the part. I realized he didn't order the part for both sides so now he has to come back again ! And on top of that , on the side that he replaced , nothing changed. The pot of water we tested, absolutely did NOT boil 50% faster than my old gas range ! I am not mad at the repair company, I am mad because after talking to Frigidaire about the issue their only way of helping me replacing the stove if it's still not working when teh next part comes in. And i really would like a better quality stove, and would be will to return this and pay teh difference on a better quality range. I think that this one is just not that great and the way it has been working for me is as good as it's going to get ! So,I am not happy and would warn anyone looking at this model to stay away !

Terrible custormer service

Purchased January 2025. Oven has never worked correctly--doesn't reach temperature and makes strange noises. It's now May, 2025, and after 3 service visits, an additional two scheduled visits that were cancelled (by service provider) and endless hours on hold trying to contact Frigidaire warranty service, no closer to having the issue resolved. Last repair person said it could not be fixed, yet Frigidaire scheduled another repair visit, which they cancelled the morning of the visit after waiting for two weeks. I'm writing this review while on hold. I'm not sure my experience could be much worse, but since I'm still trying to get this resolved, I will have the opportunity to find out

Love everything about this oven!The touch pad is very sensitive, so even if you brush up against it - it will beep. It does have a lock feature, but it will still beep if touched. The burner will cut off if you don't have a pot/pan on it -- so you have to be fast if you are switching things around while cooking.

I debated whether to go gas or induction. After cooking on the same range for 20 years, I am amazed at the difference my new range has made . Boiling water is practically instant and when you turn off the burner it practically instantly goes cold.

I've only ever cooked with electric or gas for 25 years so this is a leap into the unknown for me. I wanted something that would not produce a lot of heat when in use because our house tends to run so hot all the time anyway. So far so good. The induction has the sensitivity and more precise nature of gas without the excessive heat production. Love the convention oven too. Our last range was old so this has been a major upgrade for us .

Touch pad controls aren't great

Overall I really like the new range and oven. Heats up super fast and provides even cooking. My only issue is that the controls are all capacitive touch, like a phone screen and sometimes it takes a couple tries to touch them in just the right spot. I have found that using the pad of your finger, rather than the end or tip of your finger seems to work better, but it's not a natural position for your wrist to bend back like that to get the finger pad into the right position. If the buttons were actual buttons it would be a perfect stove.

Better Than Gas

This stove/oven has changed my life. Time amount spent cooking gas decreased and meals tastes better! Frozen pizza tastes like fresh pizza cooked in this oven. I am so excited to cook now and it's saved us so much money due to not eating out as much. Highly recommend this brand and model!
